"So shall my word be that goes
out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)
Agape Ministries had a truly impactful Christmas season, demonstrating the spirit of giving and compassion in profound ways. This year, we were able to distribute gift packages to 9 communities, reaching over 500 children. This act of kindness not only provided essential nourishment but also brought joy and hope to many during the festive season. It was heartwarming to witness the smiles and gratitude from the families and children, reaffirming the importance of our mission.
It is with much joy that we announce the successful transition of two churches that originated from our feeding programs four years ago. Today, we celebrate the independence of the Gospel Light Bible Baptist Church in Norzagaray and AGAPE Christian Church in Libtong, which were established during the challenging times of COVID-19 in 2021.
From their humble beginnings as feeding programs, these initiatives have blossomed into thriving congregations. The preaching of the gospel to the families and communities, coupled with growing numbers of baptisms each year, laid the foundation for these churches to flourish. The dedication and commitment to spreading God's word have resulted in the formation of solid and deep-rooted congregations.
Agape Ministries rejoices in witnessing the remarkable journey of these churches and their steadfast faith. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners in the gospel—Pastor Noel Laganzon, Pastor Jhomar Carbon, and Pastor Ramon and Glen Alcasid. Your unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in nurturing these communities.
Our Calamity Relief Ministry in Camarines Sur has been tirelessly supporting families affected by recent floods. Through the darkness of floodings and loss, we have been able to bring the light of hope and the message of the gospel to the community.
Thanks to the generous support and dedication of our volunteers, we continue to provide essential care packages to families in need. These packages not only address immediate physical needs but also open doors for spiritual nourishment. As a result, God has opened 10 new Bible studies, creating spaces for spiritual growth and fellowship.
